Last Time

Just One Last Time is an emotive single of epic proportions that stretches across the boundaries of sound with soulful, enriched vocals that are finally realised in typical Guetta fashion with a space warping, instrumental drop - slightly altered in the video to add even more impact. Taped Rai’s vocals summon a sense of gravity and sorrow that enthral and enrapture the listener’s mind, but before we can succumb to their hypnotic qualities, these apparitions are turned to rubble as the heavy hand of Guetta’s production roughly swipe them away and explode through our walls of expectation and flare through the passages of our imagination.

We feed on the beefy drop, we breathe in the pin-point accuracy of the beat constructions and our heart beats in unison with the nostalgic melodies. The video is a perfect fit for this quite literally spine-tingling epic. Its dramatic narrative is a transfixing sight to behold and its cinematic visuals easily outmatch those of Titanium and She Wolf. The video’s tense and dramatic visuals are in perfect harmony with the ambient aura of the song.

Just One Last Time is up there with some of Guetta’s finest singles, and the video soars high above all of its predecessors.
