True is the new single by Drums of Death and comes courtesy of Black Butter Recordings, home to sensational artists such as chart topping Rudimental and emerging talents like Kidnap Kid & Clean Bandit. When you first hear the name Drums of Death you might initially anticipate dubstep or hardstyle. Contrary to these initial speculations, we can assure you that True is in fact a very composed, relaxing and musically articulate number.

True also features Yasmin, who has previously collaborated with the likes of Gorgon City, Shy FX and Lewi White. The singer-songwriter has already shown her diversity, turning her hand to everything from urban music to reggae-carnival style. She now adds her golden touch to the diamond-encrusted brilliance of Drums of Death’s production in a comfortably-fitted, well-honed delivery. True is a soft yet rather urban creation that seems to have a slightly old school feel about it, exhibiting a gentle balance of natural seductive hooks, warm spine-tingling progressions and carefree bouncy beats that leave us champing at the bit for more.
