Wideboys – Addicted 2 the Bass

Wideboys are a British duo consisting of Jim Sullivan & Eddie Craig. The duo have been active for over half a decade and have produced and remixed for the likes of Taio Cruz, Rolldeep, Rihanna, Example, Liberty X and Snoop Dogg. They also have their own show on Kiss Radio and have had their previous single played by DJ’s such as Annie Mac, Mistajam and Steve Smart.

Addicted 2 the Bass is the Wideboys’ follow up single and stakes a simple claim to their love of the bass genres with carefree lyrics and slightly old school vocals. The bass line and military drum beats then kick down the door and shake the floor to crush the club into submission. The video taps into everybody’s love of bass music and shows young party goers immersed in the music. The group proceeds to set up a party in a derelict club and rave the night away. The culmination is addictive, hammering and electrifying.

The EP includes a remix from Tantrum Desire, who have done what they do best, using wild and heavy dubstep synths smashing through all boundaries. The stadium house mix then gives a brash blast to pound through your system and to get your feet moving. The EP also contains remixes from Karbonite and DJ Q, together with the UKG, club and stadium house mixes by Wideboys. The resulting EP is a must buy, and the original is another stand-out track by the duo.

Addicted 2 the Bass is out now on iTunes UK and album due for release in Autumn 2012.
