Jack Beats – Careless (Album)
After the track, Careless, the best track on the album is probably Hooligans which can be listened to below:

Jack Beats have been at the frontline in producing the best in quirky dubstep for a few years now and judging from their latest release, the duo’s first mini album, that does not look subject to change. The duo have taken the chart by storm and spent more than a day on top of the Beatport releases top 100. This comes after the duo have evolved their quirky style into the current heavy dubstep and quirky combination. This translation may be because the album was released on Skrillex’s label, OWLSA.
The lead single - also called Careless - is an excellent fusion of RnB vocals and bouncy beats, that despite its name might suggest, has obviously been carefully composed. The lead track is also probably the best song on the album, though some of the other tracks contain some fantastic power.
Epidermic was co-produced with Dillon Francis and is arguable the grittiest track on the album, with a lethal combination of piano notes providing structure for heavy drops conjoining into beats that even flubber would struggle to keep up with. War features chart topper, Example on vocals and Diplo accompanies Jack Beats in the production. The song is a quirky, ardent reggae sort of track that is probably the most variant track on the album. It performs a series of fast paced gymnastics and unexpected twists to leave you dizzy with joy.
Hooligans is, as the name might suggest, a rough song, perfect for the madness of the clubs, with bursts of big basses that then advance into crowd pleasing drops. It deploys high electronic whines on top of a series of hesitant, lurching bulky dubstep progressions.  The final track is a re-edit of End of Love, which has especially quirky synths that vary from drastic dubstep to mellow indie music, while being accompanied by piano notes.
The instrumentals of Careless and War have also been included on the album for those that prefer to concentrate on the production of the songs. This mini album continues to feed off Jack Beats’ highly unique and distinctive sound, which  they have not only have maintained, but have also improved and developed further. The album is out now on Beatport and will be released on iTunes UK on the 10 September along with Fast Girls, a track that does not feature on the Beatport release.
