Cole Plante with Myon & Shane 54 ft Koko LaRoo – Lie To Me
Lie To Me is a big
new house anthem from across the pond made by California based upcoming
producer, Cole Plante and veteran duo Myon & Shane 54. Hailing from Hungry,
Myon & Shane 54 have been in the business since 2008, making themselves
known across the world. Their experience has paid off with the duo claiming
their fair share of Beatport number ones and a sustained presence in the
DJMag100.
Plante may only be 17, but he has quickly risen through the
ranks and it was only a matter of time before he caught the eye of his current
label, Holywood Records. He cites his live sound as being a cross between
Skrillex & Porter Robinson, and that emotive house element, so often played
to by Robinson, is clearly present in Lie
To Me. The young producer doesn’t just make upbeat house tunes though; he
also throws in other genres like dubstep and breakbeat into his works.
This collaboration between artists old and new has really
helped create a fresh yet eloquent concoction stuffed with hot progressions and
galloping drops, while LaRoo strongly threads her way alongside the optimistic
melody, all shaping that hands in the air moment.
