Dirty South ft Joe Gil - Until the End

Dirty South is a well-known name in the house industry. In the last few years, the Serbian-Australian producer has worked with the likes of Sebastian Ingrosso, David Guetta, Example and Alesso. The last of which landed him with a Beatport number one. He has also remixed for countless artists, including Skylar Grey, Tiesto, Monsta and Cicada.
Until the End is the emotive new single taken from Dirty South’s debut album, Speed of Life. The single has a uniform structure. Instead, South has put all of his effort into the actual sound of the production, relying on a percussion of intense blasts of awe-inspiring house, intermingled with an enchanting light melody and soft vocal, to give the track his personal touch of unique musical passion.

Certain people have criticised the video, directed by Henrik Hanson, for being unoriginal. However, in our opinion a music video is not solely dependent on innovative storylines. A video also relies on how well the director can capture the song’s emotions, sounds and meanings – embodying the soul of the music. In that respect, the video is exceptionally suitable, as the editing and narrative reflects the ups and downs in the production and the emotive poignancy of Joe Gil’s vocals.
